carolyn tam (chi yan) is an architectural designer based in hong kong. her work spans across architecture, interiors, and art. an m.arch graduate of the massachusetts institute of technology and a merit fellowship recipient, she focuses on reshaping spatial experience by integrating material innovation and artistry into architectural design.

carolyn's personal projects have received numerous international recognition and awards, including mit’s schnitzer prize. her architecture thesis was also awarded the marvin e. goody award for extending the horizons of building techniques and material innovation. carolyn's work has been featured globally in publications such as the financial times, dezeen, archdaily, and domus magazine.
